I just came back from my Publix in Dunedin and I used the publix B1G1 on the trident and used a Manf. B1G1 to make it free. The lady said i couldn’t do that i needed to buy four. I said only want two. So we called the manager over and at first the manager said the cashier was right….but then i said its a publix coupon and a Manf. coupon and that would make them both free. She asked the big manager and Yup i was right. (this was all friendly too) So the moral of the story is call a manager over.

The manager at Publix on SR 54 heading towards the trinity area would only allow me to use 1 Publix coupon per product, whether it was from the green advantage, yellow advantage, or other Publix coupon sheets, or Publix coupon booklets. This was after everything was rung up at the register.
Most other Publix stores that I go to will let me use enough of Publix coupons for 5 deals, so if the Publix coupon is for 2 items, I can get 10 items or 5 deals.
The Publix manager on Dale Mabry Hwy in Lutz/Tampa would not honor the $5/$30 Winn Dixie printed coupon from this site. They only accept the WinnDixie coupons from the flyers. The manager there said that Publix is going to stop taking all computer printed coupons. That is very disappointing news if it is true. Every Publix I go to has a different coupon policy and it gets confusing for the customers.

Deal that wasn’t listed that I got today was Kotex. They are on sale 10 for 10 or 3.33 each. The new coupon booklet has a Publix coupon for 2 off and stacked with a Target one for a dollar off makes them .33 cents each. GREAT DEAL:)

I’m in west palm beach but LOVE your site. Definitely saw an attitude with the cashier when I handed her all my coupons. First thing she said “Do you have all of these?” She scrutinized everything. I had asked ahead of time about the trident gum and was able to use 2 BOGO coupons (free)! Appreciated the Winn Dixie $5 off – we don’t get them in our flyer.

Target Cheetos coupon specifies 13 oz. bag. Publix BOGO sale is on 8 to 9.75 oz bags. Target coupon won’t work here. Darn!!!

I had an unusual experience yesterday at my favorite Publix. I had four of the same mfg Q that said “Limit one coupon per purchase” and had four items. Before this meant one coupon per purchased item. The cashier checked with the manager because the new policy may only allow 1 coupon of that type per trip. The manager allowed me to use them. They said they will be getting clarification on wording. I hope this is not true. I was only allowed to use 1 Q on the Vitality gum too, no free or overages anymore. They are cracking down because of losses and coupon abuse.

IN the publix yellow advantage add the weber seasonings is on sale for 1.69 and there was a coupon for 1.00 off so you can get 1 thing of seasoning for .69cents!! what a great deal!!!!

Publix actually makes more off of coupon sales than they do cash sales. Some cashiers (and managers) have a real attitude toward couponer’s therefore will tell you anything. Publix did NOT lose more than 8 million dollars last year, quite the contrary. One Publix cashier accused couponer’s of ‘ripping us off’ It is just ignorance on their part, because what they do not realize is that coupon sales bring higher profits to their company.

Sorry Terri, I need to change that. Thanks for bringing that to my attention! The coupon in SS Insert says “Good on any single pack of Trident gum” and has pictures of the Vitality on there of the 9 ct. My error was in specifying 14 ct. Vitality is in the 9 ct. I am updating the post now. You can definitely use both coupons. 🙂 Kelly

I go to the Winthrop Store in Brandon and they are only allowing 1 flyer coupon (green advantage or yellow) because it says limit 1 deal per coupon per customer. I beg to differ because it says per coupon per customer. So if I have 4 coupons I should be able to use all of them. We have come down to semantics on this one. O well.

Hi I am have some trouble at my Publix these days . They seem t be cracking down on how many Q you can use for the same purchase . The wording has change on there Q . One per purchase at the time of purchase . Is anyone else hearing about this ? The lady said Publix lost 8 millon dollars last year .
