Liza, thanks for sharing that! My husband brought some home one day and said a friend at work gave them to him, and I really questioned their legitimacy, and decided not to use them. I won’t use anything if I don’t know first hand where it came from. I just hope that people who are committing this type of fraud quit. Because it would be sad if a day comes when we can’t use internet coupons. Again thanks for sharing, and thanks for all your hard work.

It bugs me that he ends with “if you printed off the internet…you should be very skeptical.” I’m glad that my Publix has fantastic managers and staff who are coupon friendly!

That is what I focused in on also. Probably what Liza’s CVS manager also heard. Why couldn’t they have said “be sure you are printing from a legitimate site”?

This is getting out of hand … and guess who gets affected..WE DO the ones that r doing good by mailing expired cpns to Liza to send overseaes..The ones that check cpns online and use them correctly, not use expired ones so on and so forth…I just started this trend in Feb 2010 and i am having alot of fun and @ the same time I am saving. I really would like to kepp this going.
Liza thanks for all u do.

Thank you Liza. Legitimate free product coupons straight from the manufacturers are also being stated as counterfeit at our Publix.
When you participate in Kraft programs or let companies know how much you like, or displike, an item they will more often or not send you free product coupons. And Recyclebank is where we get our free Coke product coupons when we get enough points.
So although they all have UPC codes, scannable, all the small print, most not on normal print out paper but like magazine type paper the cashiers will still accuse of trying to give them fake free product coupon.

Has anyone tried using the Free Tropicana juice coupon from the Tropicana Juicy Rewards site a while back and is expired at the end of this month?
The coupon is printed on regular paper and even says in small print above the bar-code ‘RETAILER: To validate authenticity, please scratch the back of this page with a coin to reveal Coupons, Inc. logo’
I didn’t scratch the back of the page but I can see in the light it does have the Coupons logo as a watermark..

I just used mine last night. 🙂 Got a Tropicana Premium for Free, a Trop50 with an online coupon of $1.00 off and then used a tearpad coupon for $1.00/produce when you buy 2 Tropicana products. 🙂 Good Deal!

Cashier gave it a funny look – I told her to look at the back & that it came in the mail.
