This is a great looking week at Publix! Tons of awesome deals including my favorite produce sale $0.99/lb for Green Beans, Zucchini, Squash, etc! Do you see any deals or coupon matchups I’ve missed? What deals are you looking forward to? As always, I am showing you every B1G1 deal and the highlights of the rest of the ad. To see the entire ad/coupon matchups, go to I Heart Publix!
******Six Main Notes to my readers :
1) If you are new to saving money at Publix, read my Intro to Publix post. 2) When Publix has a Buy One Get One Sale, in order for most Floridians to receive the second item free, we have to buy both items. Other states only have to buy one item and they will get that item half (50%) off. 3) For Floridians, if we use coupons 50 cents or less, our coupons are not doubled. Other states will double coupons as long as they are 50 cents or less. 4) Publix accepts competitor store coupons! HOWEVER, each Publix store accepts different competitors based on the proximity of the competitor’s location. Ask your Publix who they consider as competitors! 5) If you live in Florida, our sales cycle starts on Thursdays 6) To see Publix’s color full ad, go Here!Buy One Get One Free Deals

I have a question about the Powerade stuff. I have a coupon for Get 5 additional free 32oz bottles of Powerade Ion4 or Powerade Zero when you buy 10 32oz bottles of Powerade Ion4 or Powerade Zero. Would I be able to use that coupon along with the ones you listed?
Liza says
Hey Teresa – okay, your coupon is a b10g5free.. So, your coupon is “covering” the cost of the five free bottles. If you have the B4G1 coupon (from the comments above it looks like it is gone now..) then below is the scenario I would do with your coupons..
Buy 16 Powerade, $10.00
Minus one B10G5 coupon (subtracts $6.25)
Minus two B4G1 coupons (subtracts $2.50)
Total Due: $1.25
For those of you with just the B10G5 hangtag, your scenario is below:
Buy 16 Powerade, $10.00
Minus one B10G5 (subtracts $6.25)
Total Due: $3.75 making them $0.23 each
Amanda says
I can’t seem to find the powerade coupon?
Maranda says
I have 2 of the Martha Stewart B2G1 cleaner coupon. Do I pick up 6 cleaners? Or 3? Thanks for all your help. I love how you highlight the items in red that are great deals!!!
Teresa says
I think she meant get three B1G1 deals. She does mention buying six at the end so buying three meaning deals would make sense.
Liza says
Hi Maranda and Teresa – You need to buy 6 cleaners and use two coupons 🙂 I fixed the typo!
Jennifer M says
i can’t find the powerade coupon either…
Kelly says
The powerade is a hangtag, but there are Target coupons out there. Not sure if limit reached. My question is how to use the coupon. I’ve always gotten 20 for $6.25, but someone posted on another site about 16 for $3.75 with 1 hangtag, or 30 for $6.25 with 2. Any comments on this?
Liza says
Hey Kelly – I just left this scenario under Teresa’s comment but I will leave it under yours too to insure you see it 🙂
This is the scenario for your B10G5 hangtag:
Buy 16 Powerade, $10.00
Minus one B10G5 (subtracts $6.25)
Total Due: $3.75 making them $0.23 each
I think the print limit has been reached for the Target coupon but in case you were able to print it out, below is the scenario for using the hangtop and two Target coupons:
Buy 16 Powerade, $10.00
Minus one B10G5 coupon (subtracts $6.25)
Minus two B4G1 coupons (subtracts $2.50)
Total Due: $1.25 making them $0.08 each

Hi could you please explain how the martha stewart deal works. Thank you.
Nicole says
I am also wondering how the Martha Stewart BOGO sale will work. It seems to me that for each 1 you buy you get 2 free (one from the sale and one from the coupon). So for 6 cleaners you pay for two and get 4 free with 2 B2G1 coupons. Is this right? It says above buy 6 for the price of 1 with 2 coupons??? I’m confused!
Liza says
Hi Nicole – Okay – in my scenario I am having you buy 6 cleaners. Assuming you live in a “true BOGO” state like FL, then when you buy 6 cleaners, you will pay for three cleaners and get three free. You can use two B2G1 coupons because you are buying a total of 6 items. With a B2G1 coupon, when you buy two items you get one free. With this sale, you are already getting three items free. So, when you use the two B2G1 items, it is “covering” the cost of two of the items that you would have had to pay for. This means that you will end up paying for one item and getting 5 free. Let me know if I need to clarify and I will! This is definitely a tricky topic! :P)
Lisa says
I got my Publix BOGO sales circular in the mail yesterday….$5 off $50 coupon on it….
Kaitlyn says
where do you get the Publix booklets????
susan says
most of the coupon books are located on the left hand side when you first walk in. usually in a big green turning thing. where all the weekly ads are. I always take at least 2 of all mags, booklets, coupons, etc.
susan says
just got back from a quick publix run. got 2 boxes of pasta, 2 bread crumbs and 6 of the martha stewart cleaners for $6.51.
Thank You Liza!

Just a heads up, if you “like” Ronzoni on Facebook here: http://www.facebook.com/ronzoni.pasta you can get a $1.00/1 of Healthy Harvest which should go pretty nicely with the sale this week. There’s also a coupon for Idahoan potatoes on their facebook page here: http://www.facebook.com/idahoanfoods good for $1.00/1 package.
Amanda says
My publix only had the original pasta on sale, not the healthy harvest. I was hopeful as I had lots of healthy harvest coupons. But nope.
Michele says
Hi, I’m new to this and I’ve been told 2 different things. Does anyone know if I use a coupon tomorrow October 9th at Publix and my coupon expires 10/09/10 is my coupon still good?
Thanks

Hi Michele! Great question – yes – if a coupon has an expiration date of 10/9/10, that means it is good through 10/9/10 🙂

The Kashi cereal was $2.99 in my store not 2/$5.
My ad also says $2.99.
Did anyone else find this to be the case too?

Hi there, I’m new to couponing and have a couple questions. I’m in Florida so with the bogo sales, for example the Ronzoni Pasta…. it’s suggested to use two of the printable $.55/1 coupons but when I printed the coupon it says “Limit one coupon per purchase” ? Will Publix let me use two?
Or when a Publix or MQ coupons says “One Coupon valid for items indicated” or “Limit one deal per coupon per customer” Can I use one for each bogo item? Plus can I stack(mq+store cp) when the coupons say this?
I asked my store and they advised yes you can stack coupons and use one for each item but it must comply with what is says on the coupon. So I’m having trouble with the lingo on the coupons and unerstanding how bloggers are using multiple coupons on purchases when the coupons say this. Any advice or info would be helpful and greatly appreciated. I have already saved money since reading this site but would like to maximize my savings like so many of the wonderful bloggers here do. Thanks to everyone!!!

I have a question about the Ballpark hotdogs. The coupon is for the Ballpark JUMBO hotdogs, but the ones that are on sale for BOGO aren’t jumbo. I was so bummed and didn’t even try to use my coupon. It was my first week doing this. Would I have been able to use that coupon anyway?

Hi Amanda – You used really good judgement not using the coupon. Always go by what the coupon states.. So, if the coupon had stated Ballpark Hotdogs or Any Ballpark Hotdogs, then you could have used them. But, since it specified Jumbo then you did the correct thing. Don’t be bummed or discouraged – I promise that you will get a ton of awesome deals in the future and the fact that you are obeying the coupon rules now will prevent any problems for you in the future! 🙂
