I will be curious to hear your thoughts on this week’s ad. In some ways, I’m loving the deals. In other ways, I’m disappointed with the lack of coupons to use on the deals. Make sure you click where it says “Display all Matchups” so that you don’t miss any deals. There are also a ton of Publix store in-ad coupons and I’ve included their manufacturer coupon matchups! Please leave a comment if you see any missing coupons, unadvertised deals or typos! The deals below are taken from a Tampa ad-scan. As the days go on, I will update this ad.
******Seven Main Notes to my readers :
1) If you are new to saving money at Publix, read my Intro to Publix post.
2) From time to time the print limit will be reached on printable coupons. You will know the print limit has been reached if you go to print a coupon and you receive an error message, a message stating you have already printed the coupon, or you just don’t see the coupon.
3) When Publix has a Buy One Get One Sale, in order for Floridians to receive the second item free, we have to buy both items. Many other states only have to buy one item and they will get that one item for half (50%) off. Most matchups below are based on “True BOGOs.”
4) For Floridians, if we use coupons 50 cents or less, our coupons are not doubled. Many other states will double coupons as long as they are 50 cents or less.
5) Publix accepts competitor store coupons! HOWEVER, each Publix accepts different competitors based on the proximity of the competitor’s location. Ask your Publix who they consider as competitors.
6) If you live in Florida, our sales cycle starts on Thursdays

Just reading the Publix ad and noticed that the A-1 steak sauce has a minor typo…it makes them 1.10 each….and it says 2.20 each……..

My coupon actually states “Limit one coupon per transaction”, so in that case, can’t we use one coupon for any canister we buy?
Sorry… that should have been ‘every canister we buy’.
Hi Marylou! Sadly, since the coupons says one per transaction, that means you can use one coupon during your entire transaction. So, if you buy 8 jars at once, that would be considered one transaction. If the coupon said, “one coupon per purchase”, you would be able to use 8 coupons. Let me know if you need me to explain further – this can be confusing.

Not much on sale that I need this week. I hope they bring back some frozen waffles and/or toaster strudels soon
As a side note, I was glad to see the coupons in last Sunday’s paper for Sundown vitamins again. Pairing those who the vitamins on sale at Publix this month has gotten me so free and practically free vitamins

There is a coupon in the 1/22/12 Red Plum insert for Dove chocolates For $1.50 off 2, so paired with the Target coupon, they should be FREE! 🙂
The Arm & Hammer toothpaste coupon does not give an insert type- Where can it be found? Thanks!

There is a $1 off 1 Homestyle mac n cheese in the 1/29 SS, making them $.30 each. (regionally priced) There is a $.50 off 2 Knorr sides in the 1/29 Red Plum (Unilever) can’t give you an amt cuz Liza accidentally missed the pricing & $.60 off 2 Lipton Recipe Secrets 1/29 Red Plum Univlever making those $.78 for 2 (depending on how much your Publix charges. Mine in Sarasota is $1.19 each. I have an in-store coupon for $1 off 2 Lipton Secrets and a MC for $.60 off 2.
