******Seven Main Notes to my readers :
1) If you are new to saving money at Publix, read my Intro to Publix post.
2) From time to time the print limit will be reached on printable coupons. You will know the print limit has been reached if you go to print a coupon and you receive an error message or the message that you have already printed the coupon – even if you haven’t.
3) When Publix has a Buy One Get One Sale, in order for Floridians to receive the second item free, we have to buy both items. Many other states only have to buy one item and they will get that one item for half (50%) off.
4) For Floridians, if we use coupons 50 cents or less, our coupons are not doubled. Many other states will double coupons as long as they are 50 cents or less.
5) Publix accepts competitor store coupons! HOWEVER, each Publix accepts different competitors based on the proximity of the competitor’s location. Ask your Publix who they consider as competitors.
6) If you live in Florida, our sales cycle starts on Thursdays

I printed out those coupons and they are almost expired. Where would you use them Liza? I am on my last box!!!
I just might have to start shopping at other stores. Publix ads lately have been horrible. I guess the PR about extreme couponing has finally caught up with all of us, even the coupon values have changed lately. I mean Publix has changed alot in the past couple of months. I.E… the brownie mix, months ago would of been BOGO and now 2 for $3. I think it is very unfair, because families, like mine and many others, can only survive on coupons. To start hurting us because of the extreme, is only going to hurt the stores, because we will start going to other stores to get the good deals. I’m very disappointed in Publix.
I agree in regards to coupon vaules being different. I now shop other places to get the best price on meat and pet supplies because of the cahngesw in Publix policy, they are not always the best deal. Plus, those extreme couponers on TV shop in states that double and triple coupons, not the case in Florida. I now have to be satisfied with 50%-60% on my grocery bill. Just yesterday I spent $69 and saved $120.
If included, Target has $1/1 when you buy ONE box of POST Shredded Wheat Cereal. This is a manufacturer coupon not target coupon.
If anyone cut out all the manufacturer coupons out of the Albertson’s sales flyer a couple of months ago which included a Breyers, Lipton, Country Crock, Klondike, skippy, etc. They all expire 7/31

I don’t think that show has hurt Publix at all. I noticed their sales are in cycles and I’ve only done this a month and a half. They did have the brownie mixes cheaper on BOGO before. Just like this week they have Kellogs on BOGO for over $4, this weekend it was half off! I think they switch the pricing around, but it will fluctuate, this week just happens to have them priced higher on the BOGO.
This week looks like a lighter stock up week for me, but there are some good deals going on. I like the Progresso soup, 4 for $5 is a good deal on it since I’ve paid the full $2.49 for it in the past. My kids love the Chickarina. I also am happy to see the granola bars on BOGO, I need to grab some for upcoming lunches. I also like the Caribou coffee deal, wonder what the suprising low price will be next week? This week it is $8.99 and that is not a “surprising low price to me” LOL.
Oh and BTW….I called my Publix about the stacking Stock Up Spree coupons with the manufacturer, they said if it has a LU instead of a barcode, it is considered Publix, even if it says “manufacturer” on the coupon. In fact I used mine this past week stacked and I was checked out by a CSM.
These expired the 24th which was yesterday.

The Enfamil on sale is the Premium, those are about $25, so after the Publix q and 2 Manu q’s they’re $17 each, not $8-$9 each.
I have a question to anyone that can answer. if you have a coupon for free item, and it’s bogo free at publix can i score both free. expecting coupon for free fresh express salad from vocalpoint.

Yes you can Karen, at least where Liza says True BOGO’s. I had 2 coupons for free Diet Coke from My Coke Rewards. I went to get 2 boxes and the customer service cashier told me, come back tomorrow we’ll have them B2G2 so you will get 4 for free. And I did, and the cashier scanned them no questions asked. I live in FL.

Hi Karen! You have a great question! The answer depends on where you live. If you live where there are “True BOGOS” (in other words, you pay for one item in full and the second item is free) if you buy 2 items and use one free coupon, you will get both for free! 🙂 If you live where there are 50% off BOGO sales, you won’t get quite as good of a deal. Isn’t there a Silk coupon in one of the inserts for $1 off? I think I remember seeing it??
I have to agree wit the post about the person who said the sales aren’t good. i think the show probably didn’t help. Yes, the sales go in cycles but I have been doing this for a couple of years and since the show there is a lot less deals. I have also noticed that some of the values of the coupons have gone down.

Hi Dawn! I think the problem is that you were looking at the upcoming ad scheduled to start this Thursday, August 4th? Skippy Peanut Butter and Wishbone dressing will be on sale BOGO starting Thursday. Hope that helps!
