We love doing things as a family. Things like movie nights, game nights, swimming in the pool nights… basically any type of event I can come up with a title for, we love. My kids especially. My son loves game nights because they mean lots of family time, fun food and usually staying up a little later than normal! Here’s the problem…. this is the busiest time of the year for me. And now that I’m a mom to two busy kids (if you are new to my blog, we adopted our almost two year old daughter five months ago) plus trying to work full-time+ during my busiest blogging season, I’m seeing just how crazy this time of the year actually will be! Save-A-Lot has 13 new decadent foods available in their America’s Choice® Creations line of food! They have yummy foods like Stuffed Salmon, Black Angus Bacon & Cheddar Burgers, 3 Meat Lasagna, Chocolate Pizzas and more. For our game night, I wanted to head to Save-A-Lot and select some yummy dinner ideas that were family friendly AND easy to make.

For dinner we purchased a Triple Pepperoni Pizza, Supreme Pizza, Bacon Mac n Cheese and for dessert we selected Peanut Butter Truffle Brownies (um – chocolate & peanut butter? Yes please) and Pecan Caramel Brownie Cookies. We figured that with our selections, everyone would be happy. I would be happy because I would have veggies on my pizza, hubby would have lots of pepperoni on his pizza and the kiddos would have their mac & cheese. Perfection.

This was an easy meal night. The most effort I had to put into preparing our meal was preheating the oven, opening the packages and then serving the food. So easy,

My husband loved the Triple Pepperoni Pizza. He said it was easily one of his new favorite frozen pizzas (he’s a frozen pizza connoisseur). This pizza was so flavorful especially considering it was packed with pepperoni! I thought the Supreme Pizza was great – it was generously layered with meat and vegetable toppings. I love a combo of meat and veggies and this satisfied my pizza cravings!

The Bacon Mac n Cheese was perfectly creamy and the addition of smoked bacon created the perfect flavor combinations of cheese, noodles and bacon. It was a hit with my kids and they asked for seconds.

And then of course the dessert… The Peanut Butter Truffle Brownie had a wonderfully fresh consistency and the frosting topping was smooth and creamy. The size of this brownie is huge and we easily split this four ways to share it. The Pecan Caramel Brownie Cookies were also wonderful. They were soft cookies and the caramel melted in our mouths.

    I have two that I would put together. The honey bourbon salmon with the bacon mac and cheese.

    They all look amazing, but I’d most like to try the cheesecake, both types of pizza, the two salmon dishes, the peanut butter truffle brownie, and the lasagna.
