With the colder weather here, cold and flu season has arrived! With my son in school, I’m finding that he’s bringing home germs left and right. To prepare for the inevitable sniffles, we have stocked up on Scotties! Scotties tissues are available in-store and also online on Amazon.com.
I’ve learned a few tricks to help keep my family sickness free:
1) As soon as my son returns home from school, we wash his hands and face AND change his clothing. And, if we return home from the grocery store, church, etc, we follow the same protocol. Wash hands, face, change clothing.
2) We use essential oils to help boost our immunity.
3) Sleep!! Sleep is vital for my busy son and daughter. So I make sure that their naptimes and bedtimes are a priority. It’s okay if we are a little late putting the kiddos to bed, but I try to make sure they sleep as long as their bodies need.
4) Hydration. I am fortunate because both of my kids enjoy drinking water. I try to make sure they have water available in their sippy cups all day long so that they stay well-hydrated.
