** SITUATION **
I printed these before and I used them today at my St. Pete Walmart I used the overage to partially pay for my doggies costumes when we got home they didn’t fit so I had to return the costumes when we returned them.
When we returned them they put the overage along with the credit card payment and applied it all back to the credit card. Wouldn’t be a bad thing but I explained to the lady that she applied the amount to the credit card along with my overage and she wasn’t getting it. I tried to tell her the amount paid using the credit card should have been applied back to the credit card and the overage should have been separately (is this correct have you had this happen before?) Well I had to come back and explain it to another person when I explained to her about the overage she said “you can’t do that THAT’S COUPON FRAUD” which I explained it’s not coupon fraud it’s in your coupon policy that states overage may be applied to your basket or given to you as cash. she said no it’s COUPON FRAUD and she called someone in her walkie which they also said you can’t do that it’s fraud, a manager came by and I explained to her what was going on and she said no that’s not in our coupon policy which we found and I pointed it out to her.
Very long story short she wasn’t aware of the coupon policy but now she was and she was going to go over it with her cashiers the next morning to make sure they know about it. The manager was sorry and for my troubles she gave me a gift card.
