We have the Tampa Bay one and it’s really awesome. We try to use one restaurant coupon a week. The restaurant coupons are usually buy one get one free, it’s a really good deal! Too bad this isn’t the Tampa Bay one, or else I would buy another one.

AH! Just noticed this IS the Tampa Bay one…yay!

Went to Publix yesterday to buy the quaker oatmeal that is BOGO. I got 10 boxes and handed her my $5 off Winn Dixie coupon from this book and 5 man coupons that were $1/2 and then the cashier read the back of the Winn Dixie coupon and it states, “This offer is not valid with any other discounts, coupons, specials, or on holidays.” So she told me that I had to either use the manufacture coupons or the Winn Dixie but I could not use both. I advised her that I’ve always used it with other coupons before but she said my total my not $30 and then she got her manager and the manager would not let me use both either. Am I not understanding the policy if I thought I could use both?

Sara,
Did you buy anything else? 10 boxes at the BOGO price comes to $20.25, so you wouldn’t have met the $30 minimum for the $5/30. That said, if you did reach $30 in your total, then that would be a case-by-case basis, as many Publix’s (most, in fact) will allow us to stack the manufacturer with the store coupon.
Sara says
Yes I did only buy the oatmeal. They were priced at $3.49 each making my total $34.90 before the sale and coupons so that’s why I assumed I could use both the store and the manufacture coupon. The cashier was new but she said that the store keeps changing their policy. The last 3 trips that I have made there, there cashiers have been reading all of my coupons before they even scan them =(
Anyway, I’ve learned to save money from your website and for that, I thank you =)
