Here are the scenarios I have for the CVS Black Friday ad. There are five transactions listed but feel free to do more or less. These deals are good 11/22/12 – 11/24/12 so you can spread them out over a couple of days if you prefer. This post includes specific items you can purchase and coupons that you can use to maximize your dollar AND your Extra Care Bucks at CVS. Please know that you do not have to follow these transactions if you do not want to. The goal of this post is to help you get an idea on how to roll your Extra Care Bucks from one scenario to the next. Please also know that these transactions do not take into account tax. Every state taxes differently so you may need to budget a little extra to cover tax.

Minus two $0.75/1 Colgate Toothpaste 11/11/12 SS Insert not a match.  Instead, use two $0.50/1 Colgate Toothpaste, exp. 11/17/12 (SS 10/28/12 R)

Minus two $0.25/1 Suave Deodorant Product, exp. 11/11/12 (RP 10/14/12 R)
Minus $4 ECB from Transaction #2
Total Spent: $0.49
Receive: $1.50 ECB

Total Remaining ECBs to apply towards next week’s ad: $1.50 ECB

Total Out of Pocket for 3 transactions: $6.48 + applicable taxes for approximately $21.50 in products. And if you used left over ECBs in Transaction #1 you will save even more!

**Also – Don’t forget that your ECBs will expire in a few weeks and if you let them expire, you are basically throwing away money. If you are concerned you will let them expire and you want to use them now, I would put your ECBs towards paper products like toilet paper, paper towels, diapers, etc which are hard to get dirt cheap!
