Below is the upcoming Publix weekly ad. The ads go back to normal in that they are now from Thursday – Wednesday or Wednesday – Tuesday depending on where you live. It is a shorter ad this week than the past couple of weeks but there are some great deals for sure! If you see any missing coupons, deals or typos, please let me know by leaving a comment on this post! As the days go on, I will update this ad. The ad below is a Tampa Bay ad scan.
******Seven Main Notes to my readers :
1) If you are new to saving money at Publix, read my Intro to Publix post.
2) From time to time the print limit will be reached on printable coupons. You will know the print limit has been reached if you go to print a coupon and you receive an error message or the message that you have already printed the coupon – even if you haven’t.
3) When Publix has a Buy One Get One Sale, in order for most Floridians to receive the second item free, we have to buy both items. Many other states only have to buy one item and they will get that one item for half (50%) off.
4) For Floridians, if we use coupons 50 cents or less, our coupons are not doubled. Most other states will double coupons as long as they are 50 cents or less.
5) Publix accepts competitor store coupons! HOWEVER, each Publix accepts different competitorsbased on the proximity of the competitor’s location. Ask your Publix who they consider as competitors! Also, some Publix locations will accept only one of each store coupon while others will accept multiple duplicate store coupons within the same transaction.
6) If you live in Florida, our sales cycle starts on Thursdays

This Sunday we should see anywhere between four to six inserts in our papers. We should see two SS (Smart Source) Inserts, one RP (Red Plum) Insert and one P&G (Proctor and Gamble) insert. We also may see a PepsiCo Moments To Save Coupon Insert and a Target P&G Coupon Insert. Remember that coupon inserts vary per region and even newspaper so you may not see every insert. I had a marvelous day at Publix today! I’ve spent a bit more out of pocket than I would desire the past couple of weeks so I was happy to spend $7.99 today 🙂 Today was especially fun because I went in with really three things that I needed (grapes, fresh corn and onions) and since I needed just a few things, I was able to really focus on the awesome freebies available! I was so pleased to see that my store was stocked on everything! Considering I shopped so late in their sales ad, Publix was beyond stocked on everything! And, I went through my printable and “free” coupons to make sure I used all of the coupons I have that expire 4/30.. (If you printed the $1/1 Mission coupon, the $2/1 Tribe Hummus coupon and if you have the FREE Bic Lighter coupon and you haven’t used them yet, use it now!) I also grabbed 4 Cadberry Eggs not knowing how much they were marked down so I was excited to see that they rang up for $0.37 each! I love those things!
I also talked to numerous customer service staff members and cashiers about the Publix coupon policy changes and I want to reinforce what I posted yesterday – everyone CALM down. 🙂 I don’t forsee the changes to be anything we can’t handle. I promise. Stores will be cracking down on the competitor coupons that they accepts but right now, my Publix only accepts two stores (Sweet Bay and Winn Dixie) and I still save big bucks every week. So, for those of you who may not be able to use CVS, Walgreens, Target, etc in the future, don’t fret! I promise you will still save big. Okay? Also – once the official changes go through, I will post about it and we can game plan how we will save going forward. 🙂
