How did you do at Publix this week? I was hoping for greater savings today but we weren’t able to save as much as I wanted. Hopefully you all saved more money than me this week! 🙂 I am so excited that Zaycon Foods is coming back to my area so I can stock up on $1.59/lb Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts and $3.29/lb Lean Ground Beef. (Go HERE to read more about Zaycon Foods.) My major scores today at Publix were free Yakisoba Noodles (to donate) and squash for $0.99/lb!

Today’s Publix trip coincided with a huge thunderstorm. Hubby decided to take some pictures to share with you. 🙂 Hopefully you all stayed dry through the rain and stayed safe if you drove through it!

I am almost ashamed to put this picture up! Hubby and I went to Publix tonight and as we were walking with our empty grocery cart, he looked at me and said, “Are you sure you are Liza from Addicted to Saving?” Our savings were paltry, I didn’t stock up on anything (except the, ahem, chocolate) and we barely took advantage of any of the sales!

This was a really crazy week for us. In fact, I apologize because some of my regular posts went by the wayside. We have had a really up and down week with adoption stuff and next week I will post about everything to fill you all in. Let’s just say that this week included many nights of way too little sleep, lots of nervous stomachs and lots of praying. But I’ll fill you in soon – promise.

Well this has been a LONG week for me! Looking back, every day this week I had appointments, a tad bit of stress and lots of planning for Thursday night’s Addicted to Saving class. So I am extremely happy the week is almost over! Class was a success and I think I counted that I was able to meet at least 30 of you all either talking to you before or after the class. So fun for me! (I will post more about class soon :)) So – all this to say about my week, I wasn’t that enthused about shopping tonight. Especially knowing I still had to work on drugstore matchups for all of you. Fortunately, I have a very helpful hubby. So I printed out my grocery list and hubby headed to the store for me. I didn’t think this week’s sale was that impressive and we didn’t need much at all so our grocery list was short.

It is a short ad this week for Publix. I’m disappointed as there seems to be some great sales but a lack of coupons available to match with the sales! Please leave a comment if you see any missing coupons, unadvertised deals or typos!

******Six Main Notes to Publix Shoppers:

1) From time to time the print limit will be reached on printable coupons. You will know the print limit has been reached if you go to print a coupon and you receive an error message, a message stating you have already printed the coupon, or you just don’t see the coupon.
2) When Publix has a Buy One Get One Sale, in order for Floridians to receive the second item free, we have to buy both items. Many other states only have to buy one item and they will get that one item for half (50%) off. Most matchups below are based on “True BOGOs.”
3) For Floridians, if we use coupons 50 cents or less, our coupons are not doubled. Many other states will double coupons as long as they are 50 cents or less.
4) Publix accepts competitor coupons and allows for one competitor and one manufacturer coupon on one item. Ask your Publix who they consider as competitors.
5) If you live in Florida, our sales cycle starts on Thursdays

We’re back to our normal Publix schedule, which means our sales week is starting again on the normal Wednesday or Thursday this week (4/18 or 4/19). I’ve mentioned a couple of good deals already, like the Post cereal and Right Guard Body Wash deals. Please leave a comment if you see any missing coupons, unadvertised deals or typos!

******Six Main Notes to Publix Shoppers:
