Publix Digital Coupons Store-Wide Within the Next Month

I have been receiving more and more emails, Facebook comments and blog comments about Publix’s Digital coupons program. Many of you have said that your local Publix has informed you that your store is participating in the program soon (or for some of you – now). I’ve done some research and, all Publix locations will participate in Publix Digital Coupons program starting within the next month. Per Publix’s Digital Coupons participating location page, by March 15th, all stores will be participating. Below is a list of the states and dates:

What is Publix Digital Coupons? In a nutshell, it is a program that allows you to select digital coupons online and then redeem them when you checkout by punching in a 10-digit pin on the keypad; this 10-digit pin is your phone number.

These electronic coupons are the same as regular paper coupons. You do not need to print them, and the values of your “clipped” coupons are automatically deducted when you physically purchase the item corresponding with the coupon. You do not have to use the digital coupons if you choose not to; Publix will still accept the exact same coupon in paper form. However, you will not be allowed to use both the same paper and digital coupon on one item. If you give a paper coupon that matches one in your digital account, they will deduct the paper coupon and the digital one will remain in your account for future use.

How will it work if/when it’s rolled out in your area?

According to the FAQ section on Publix’ Digital Coupon page, you must create a Publix Digital Coupons account. To create an account, you must register HERE by entering the following information:

10-digit Phone Number (must be unique, will be used as your 10-digit Publix Digital Coupons account number)
Email Address (will be used as your Publix Digital Coupons web/mobile login name)
Zip Code
Password
Additionally, you will need to accept the program terms of service.

From there you will be able to log in and “clip” digital coupons, both on your home computer or on your web-enabled smart phone. With 60 coupons available to print and no limit to the amount of coupons you “clip,” this is a great way to eliminate some of the paperwork required with putting together a shopping trip. There are some manufacturer coupons to clip, but most are Publix store coupons – even better!

**NOTE** Coupons you “clip” digitally will be available for use immediately. This is nice for those times when you “lose” or forget a coupon at home – just log on with your smart phone and “clip” the coupon; the savings will be deducted at checkout!

I can’t believe it is Friday already! These weeks are flying by! My weeks have been filled with working on Addicted to Saving and planning for my upcoming Addicted to Saving 101 class this Thursday in Clearwater. We are also working on keeping our six month old puppy potty trained. I say “keeping” because last week he regressed! He had gone about 2 weeks without any accidents and then all of a sudden, he had 2 peeing accidents and 2 pooping accidents. The joys of having a puppy! We were ready to schedule an appointment to get our carpets cleaned but now I think we will wait a little longer before we assume our house will be accident free 😉

Today’s Publix shopping trip was better than last week (if you recall, I spent a bit more $$ then I would have preferred)! But we did spend more money then I would have liked. Fortunately, we bought 4 bags of coffee so we should be well stocked for at least a couple of weeks!

This Publix weekly ad is a long one! There are tons of BOGO deals as well as a lot of deals related to Easter and Passover meals and baking. Please leave a comment if you see any missing coupons, unadvertised deals or typos! Note that this ad runs all the way until Saturday, April 7th, and they will be closed on Easter Sunday.

******Six Main Notes to Publix Shoppers:

1) From time to time the print limit will be reached on printable coupons. You will know the print limit has been reached if you go to print a coupon and you receive an error message, a message stating you have already printed the coupon, or you just don’t see the coupon.
2) When Publix has a Buy One Get One Sale, in order for Floridians to receive the second item free, we have to buy both items. Many other states only have to buy one item and they will get that one item for half (50%) off. Most matchups below are based on “True BOGOs.”
3) For Floridians, if we use coupons 50 cents or less, our coupons are not doubled. Many other states will double coupons as long as they are 50 cents or less.
4) Publix accepts competitor store coupons! HOWEVER, each Publix accepts different competitors based on the proximity of the competitor’s location. Ask your Publix who they consider as competitors.
5) If you live in Florida, our sales cycle starts on Thursdays

There is a new Publix Booklet to be on the lookout for. The booklet it One Stop One Store and it is filled with ALL Publix store coupons. Since these are store coupons, we can stack one store coupon and one manufacturer coupon on one item! All coupons state “limit one coupon per deal” which means we should be able to use more than one of each coupon in one transaction. If you can not find this booklet at your store, ask customer service if they have it. Check your papers this morning for another $2 off Publix coupon! This time it’s a $2.00/2 Publix Bakery purchase, but unlike last time, this coupon is limited to one coupon per customer. It’s on page 11A in the Tampa Times and on page 7 of the front section of the Tampa Tribune. Good only in Citrus, Hernando, Pasco, Pinellas, Hillsborough, Polk, Manatee, Sarasota, Charlotte, Lee, Collier, Lake, Sumter, Osceola, Marion, and Highlands Counties. Expires on 3/17/12.

What a week! Last week I was thankful about the fact that I never got my husband’s sickness. Well, maybe the thankfulness was a bit presumptuous because late Monday night I got sick and I’m still hanging onto it. Not fun. Today has been a busy day for us so I put together today’s Publix shopping list and sent my husband to tackle the sales. Meanwhile, I went with our puppy to the vet for his third round of shots where I left with a $200+ vet bill. How in the world does that happen?!? Hubby did really well at Publix though. He used six of our $2.00/$2.00 Publix produce coupons since they do not limit one coupon per customer (he also asked the produce manager for permission ;)).
