Did you all have a good week? Originally I thought I was going to have a nice, relaxing week filled with posting deals on Addicted to Saving, spending time with my dogs, going on runs, and cooking new meals. Well, let’s just say that I think I had one relaxing day and that was Monday. Every other day has been filled with appointments, important phone calls, decision making, working on adoption stuff and then today hubby and I were filmed on Daytime TV to talk about adoption. Speaking of adoption, if you haven’t checked out our one week old adoption blog, it is Addicted to Adoption.  Oh – and I’m also in the midst of doing an organizational overhaul to my kitchen.  My kitchen has a good amount of cabinet space but after being in this house for six years, we have accumulated a lot of stuff!  So – I have purchased some furniture to act as extra storage for tupperware, kitchen gadgets, vitacost vitamins, etc.  My kitchen is still a work in progress and until it is organized, I don’t think I will feel relaxed in my kitchen.  (I hate cooking in a disheveled kitchen!)

Today’s Publix run was not a neccesary grocery trip.  Earlier this week we bought more produce so today, what we really needed was milk and Half & Half.  Despite having a full stockpile, there were some great deals and some great freebies today that I couldn’t overlook!  We don’t drink much soda in this house (about one bottle a month), so the soda you see will be given away.  Same for most of the Eggo pancakes.
