I have been saving and saving the Publix store Kraft Cheese coupons and this week Kraft cheese was finally on sale cheap enough for me to use the coupons. Sadly, Kraft shredded cheese wasn’t included in the sale, but I gues that is what my cheese shredder is for?!?

The booklet has some great looking Morning Star recipes and the back sheet has 5 (five) $2.00 off any two Morning Star manufacturer coupons. The photo above coincides with this week’s Publix Sale so you can get these items through Tuesday, 2/23 or Wednesday 2/24 (depending on when your Publix sale ends)!! I did okay today at Publix. Not as amazing as I wished, but considering I got La Croix sparkling water without a coupon as well as Afta aftershave without a coupon, I guess I can’t complain too much. I did take advantage of Publix’s Progresso Italian Days coupon sheet and I asked the customer service woman who checked me out and she let me use the $5/20 items coupon along with the individual $1.00 off coupons. I wasn’t as agressive as I could have been with this deal because I didn’t want to get in line with 20 cans of soup to be told they wouldn’t accept them. But, I was able to get 6 Green Giant Veggies, 6 Progresso Soup, 4 Muir Glen Sauce and 4 Pillsbury Sweet Rolls for $5.05 total which broken down made it $0.25 an item! I ended up spending a total of $10.19 on the $87.00 worth of groceries in the picture above.

Publix has a pretty good gift card coupon in their current weekly flyer (2/11/10 – 2/17/10 or 2/10 – 2/16 depending on where you live). The coupons states that you will receive a $10.00 Publix gift card when you buy a $50.00 American Express gift card. The only downside to this deal is that there is a $4.95 activation fee. So, you will spend $54.95 on a $50 AE and $10 Publix gift card. In a sense this makes the $10 Publix gift card only $4.95…
It’s up to you if this deal is worth it. I’ve never done the Publix gift card deals before but figured I would try it out this week. And, I know I should be able to make the $50 American Express gift card last me A LONG TIME!
