I was thinking tonight that it feels like I just went shopping and in fact, I did just go shopping since I went four days ago! We’ve been home from the blogging conference we attended last weekend for five days now and I joke that I have a to-do list a mile long after attending the conference. Sadly, it isn’t quite a joke but I am seeing a little progress as I slowly cross tasks off the list. (Isn’t that the best feeling?) With all of my things to do, I’ve been quite busy. We’ve also had some concerns about my 8 year old cavalier king charles spaniel Pacey. Pacey has been having problems swallowing and he’s been quite lethargic. We have to bring him back to the vet tomorrow but our vet suspects he either has a mass somewhere in his throat or he has a condition where either his esophagus or larynx become paralyzed. We don’t know for sure what is going on and I keep thinking (hoping) he has a cold.. Our vet has assured us, however, that this is not cold related which is just a major bummer. But that is life right?
So tonight’s shopping trip was a diverse trip. I was able to get some Spaghettios to donate (I’m starting to “stockpile” items to donate over the holiday season. Remember that food pantries run low over the holidays so I strongly encourage you to put your couponing skills to good use and set some of your groceries aside to give away!). Hubby is THRILLED that Totino’s Party Pizza was on sale. I will be upfront and admit that I have no idea why he likes them! 😉 We got some other good deals and everything is listed below.
