Below are new Walgreens scenarios. This post includes specific items you can purchase and coupons that you can use to maximize your dollar AND your Register Rewards at Walgreens. Please know that you do not have to follow these transactions if you do not want to. The goal of this post is to help you get an idea on how to roll your RRs from one week to the next. Please also know that these transactions do not take into account tax. Every state taxes differently so you may need to budget a little extra to cover tax.

Transaction #1
Buy one Lazy Town Complete multi w/DHA Gummy Bear 60’s, $5.00 (will receive $5 RR)
Use register rewards up to $5 here if you have some from last week to save more!
Total Due: $5.00 (if you do not use RRs)
Receive: $5 RR
Transaction #2
Buy one L’Oreal EOS Shave Cream or Lip Balm, $2.99 (will receive $2 RR)
Buy two Special K Cereal, 2/$5 (will receive $2 RR)
Use one B1G1 Special K Cereal
Use $5 RR from Transaction #1
Total Due: $0.49
Receive: $2 RR and $2 RR
Transaction #3
Buy one Tylenol Precise., $5.99 (will receive $3 RR)
Buy two No Nonsense Knee Highs, $0.25 each (or other small filler items. You will need to buy two filler items because Walgreens only allows one manufacturer coupon OR Register Reward per item. Since you are using the two RRs earned from Transaction two, you will need to buy two very cheap items under $0.25 preferably)
Use one $2/1 Tylenol Precise Product 12/12/2010 RP Insert (exp 3/31/2011)
Use $2 RR & $2 RR from Transaction #2
Total Due: $0.49
Receive: $3 RR
Total Out of Pocket: $5.98 + applicable tax (withoutusing RRs from last week)
Product Worth: $19.23+ tax and you will still have $3 worth of RRs to use next time!
**Don’t forget that Register Rewards expire very quickly and if you let them expire, you are basically throwing away money. If you are concerned you will let them expire, I would put your RRs towards paper products like toilet paper and paper towels which are hard to get dirt cheap!
