Get excited! Make sure you have signed up to be on Zaycon Foods email list! Zaycon Foods is returning to cities in Florida and Georgia to bring affordable boneless, skinless chicken breasts! From January 5th through January 14th, Zaycon will bring 40 lb cases of Boneless, Skinless, Chicken Breasts for $1.69/lb. This is an amazing stockpile price! Remember, that you will want to freeze much of your chicken so that you can live off of it for months to come. OR, I know for some of you this seems like a lot to freeze, so you could always split the order with a friend or neighbor! If you haven’t gotten on Zaycon Foods email list, go HERE to get on the list. You must place your order by December 31st in order to secure your order.

I’m getting excited for next week’s Zaycon Foods event! If you missed my posts earlier this week, Zaycon Foods will hold new events in Florida next week. They are bringing 93/7 Super Lean Ground Beef and it will priced at $2.89/lb! They are currently taking orders for next week’s event and as of right now, they are taking orders through tomorrow (Friday, 10/28/11). To place your order, login to your Zaycon Foods account HERE and click on the event held in the city closest to you.

Remember that you will want to freeze much of your ground beef so that you can live off of it for months to come. OR, if it seems like a lot to freeze, you can split the order with a friend or neighbor! If you haven’t gotten on Zaycon Foods email list, go HERE to get on the list.

Did you take advantage of the Zaycon Foods event in Florida last month? Have you taken advantage of their events in other states? Tonight I received an email from Zaycon Foods that they are returning to Florida this fall and this time they are bringing BACON! (My husband will be SO happy!) For the new event, Zaycon Foods will be selling medium sliced Hickory Smoked Bacon for $2.95/lb! Each pound includes approximately 14-18 slices! Great deal! Your order will include 30 pounds which sounds like a lot to me but remember you can split it up and share it with friends, family, etc! If you haven’t gotten on Zaycon Foods email list, go HERE. Zaycon Foods will start taking orders Tuesday, 10/25/11.

Zaycon Foods has also added new delivery locations for this next event! (From what I understand, they will be returning to the same locations as the chicken event as well.)

Inaugural Tampa Area Zaycon Foods Delivery Night

Last night was the inaugural Zaycon Foods event for the Tampa area that I have been talking about so much lately. As you can see from the photos below and from the video above, there was quite a crowd on hand when we showed up! Yet for all of the cars, we got through the line surprisingly quick. There were probably about 15 cars in line or so when we showed up, and within less than 10 minutes, they had our cases of chicken loaded into our trunk and we were off!

By the time we ran two quick errands and got home and settled in, it was about 9:15. My husband worked on cutting and trimming 80 lbs of chicken (yes, we did get two cases), which took him into the second half of TLC’s Extreme Couponing’s second season premier show before he finished up. We’re pretty particular about the fat and skin being gone, so we estimated that roughly 10 lbs of our eighty was trimmed off. Still, 70 lbs equals to about $1.70/lb, which is obviously much better than any grocery store! And now 70 lbs – marked with the date 9/28 on the outside – are stocked in our freezers, ready to go.

However, it’s a pretty big mess and a very slimy process. For us? Definitely worth it.

At one point last night we got a good laugh when my husband wondered out-loud how many kindred spirits he had across the Tampa Bay area who were cutting chicken with him. Care to share your story? Supposedly they’re lining up a beef and/or bacon drop off for their next stop on the east coast.

I received an exciting email last night from Zaycon Foods! Their price for boneless, skinless chicken breasts has decreased to $1.49/lb! Zaycon Foods currently has countless Savings Events located across the country. The events sell different products but many are selling 40 pounds of boneless, skinless chicken breasts for $1.49/lb which is an amazing price! If you have already paid for your order at the previous price of $1.69/lb, you will receive a credit of $8.00 to your Zaycon Foods account. This credit can be used toward any future purchase. Your account will reflect this credit no later than Saturday, Sept. 24^th 2011. For any reason, at any time you can also request a cash refund.

If you are interested in purchasing chicken for the Savings Event near you, make sure you sign up to be on Zaycon Foods email list and look to see if there is an event scheduled near you. Savings events sell out so sign up before it is too late. (If you live in Florida, you need to reserve your chicken by this Monday, September 26th.)
