I love my job. I love working on this website and providing you with deals and helping you save money. That said, it’s hard sometimes. Living in a home with wireless internet makes it very difficult for me to put my laptop down and stop working. I can work in my husband’s office, I can work in the kitchen, I can work on my couch, in my bed, early in the morning, late at night, you get the picture. Sometimes it’s good to take a break. I was away from my computer all morning and got home at noon feeling like I’ve let you all down because you’ve missed out on deals b/c of me. Well, God woke me up when I noticed these precious deer in my backyard literally 2 feet from my lanaii. Sometimes it’s good to just take a break and appreciate everything that you have and everything that is around you. That’s what I did. I spent 30 minutes watching these precious creatures feeling thankful for my life and I am now refreshed. I hope that you all take a minute in your crazy life and thank God for the small blessings around you.
(Yes – I realize my grass needs to be cut ;))

My name is Liza and I began my money-saving journey in the Spring of 2009 as a way to stretch a limited household income. I had lost my job and my hubby was self-employed. I launched Addicted to Saving in November of 2009 and it has grown by leaps and bounds. Since then, my hubby and I have struggled with the ups and downs of two failed adoptions and are now LOVING being parents to our little man Asher who we brought home from Ethiopia in August of 2013. I feel incredibly blessed to be able to help you save money. My goal is that you will have FUN and become empowered to save more and more money each week..

Liza, you deserve it. I know that sometimes when birds appear in my front yard it’s just another reminder that God will provide everything we need; just as he provides for the birds of the air how much more will he provide and care for us (we after all are created in HIS image).
