Dig into Something Different with TOMBSTONE® Limited Edition Bratwurst Pizza

TOMBSTONE® has released their Limited Edition Pizzas and I had to try their new TOMBSTONE® Limited Edition Bratwurst Pizza. So I headed to Walmart and was very excited to see their pizzas are extremely affordable at $3.50 each!

Summertime is here and my friends with kids are all excited to have their kids home from school. (Okay – let’s be honest, some of my friends are excited. Others are already wishing summer vacation was over. 😉 ) My son isn’t in school yet so my life doesn’t seem much different now that school is out versus just a few weeks ago. But for my friends, I see that they are now trying to find fun activities to do with their kiddos. We have a pool and love to have friends over to swim and hang out outside and lots of my friends have been stopping over to swim and stay cool.

When we have friends over, while I would like to tell you that I cook gourmet meals for them, I am instead looking for easy meal ideas that are tasty and yet also affordable. One of my favorite last-minute meal ideas is frozen pizza. It’s easy to prepare (preheat the oven and take the pizza out of the box) and it is very affordable especially when compared to the cost of having pizza delivered to our house. After tax, delivery fees and paying for the pizza, a delivered pizza can very easily cost $16 or $17!

The TOMBSTONE® Limited Edition Bratwurst Pizza has Premium Bratwurst, Green Peppers, Onions, Real Wisconsin Cheddar, Mozzarella Cheese and TOMBSTONE®’s tomato sauce with Spicy Brown Mustard. The pizza also has preservative free crust with no artificial flavors. Is your mouth watering yet? There is also a new TOMBSTONE® Limited Edition Pizza – Diablo Pizza available.

The pizza takes 17-19 minutes to bake at 400 degrees. I love the convenience of frozen pizzas. When I know that my friends are watching all of the kiddos in the pool (including my son), I will run inside and pre-heat the oven and then run back inside to put the pizza in the oven and take it out.

This pizza is a crowd pleaser. It tastes like a gourmet pizza at a fraction of the cost. It is easy for me to prepare allowing me to spend my time outside with friends instead of inside cooking. And, it is the perfect meal to tame the hungry bellies of the kids and my friends as we swim!
