I recently was given a new product to review and I’m excited to report that I actually love it! I often get products to review and occasionally they’re not as good as I expect. That said, my recent experience with the new Nevella Liquid Sweeteners To Go is one I’m happy to report on, because I really like it.
Those who follow this blog regularly know I’m a coffee junkie. I used to take my coffee with skim milk and Splenda, but stopped that because the Splenda was too “chemically-tasting,” if that makes sense. This past week I got to taste the three different Nevella Liquid Sweeteners To Go in my coffee (and other drinks too): Monk Fruit, Sucralose, and Stevia, and I’m excited about them for a couple reasons.
- I loved the taste of the Sucralose and Monk Fruit in my coffee! Ironically, Sucralose is the main ingredient in Splenda, but I liked it much better in this liquid form. Monk Fruit is a fruit from Asia that contains mogrosides, and is extracted to make this Nevella Liquid Sweetener. Hubby thought this one worked best in tea, so even if you’re not a coffee drinker, you should give the Monk To Go sweetener a try in your tea. My least favorite of the three was the Stevia, a plant that grows in South America and contains the natural sweetener rebiana. But if you like bold sweeteners, this would be a good option.
- These Nevella Sweeteners have zero calories, and zero carbs. Not only that, but they are gluten-free and great for diabetics! I have been doing a ton of research and I have almost convinced myself that I’m allergic to gluten. How appropriate that I stumble upon these sweeteners at this time.
- You don’t need a ton and you don’t need to stir. Just one squirt is like getting a teaspoon of sugar, which means you get anywhere from 80 – 200 servings in one very small container. The liquid form helps it dissolve quickly and naturally, unlike packets of artificial sweetener or sugar.
- It’s totally portable. Its 1.68 oz container is light, sleek, and easily slips into a purse if you’re on the go. Actually, this was perfect for our overnight camping trip this past weekend – I couldn’t wait for that coffee after a sleepless night, and the Sucralose To Go was barely noticeable in my pocket.
What about you all? Do you use packets of Splenda or other sweeteners? Do you think having a squirt of Nevella would be easier? (Hint: I do!) If you’re a coffee or tea drinker, I would highly recommend trying these out. And the best part is, it doesn’t matter if the beverage is cold or hot because the Nevella Sweeteners To Go will dissolve in any temperature.
So where can you buy these zero-calorie, zero-carbohydrate naturally occurring sweeteners? Get them exclusively at your local Walmart Supercenter. Of course before you go, make sure you print your $1.00 off coupon first! Go HERE to grab yours.
