Below are new Walgreens scenarios. This week I am giving you two options – the first scenario titled as “Small” will have you spending $6.06 out of pocket on approximately $23.00 worth of products. The second scenario has you spending $9.73 out of pocket on approximately $45.00 worth of products. This post includes specific items you can purchase and coupons that you can use to maximize your dollar AND your Register Rewards at Walgreens. Please know that you do not have to follow these transactions if you do not want to. The goal of this post is to help you get an idea on how to roll your RRs from one week to the next. Please also know that these transactions do not take into account tax. Every state taxes differently so you may need to budget a little extra to cover tax.

**Don’t forget that Register Rewards expire very quickly and if you let them expire, you are basically throwing away money. If you are concerned you will let them expire, I would put your RRs towards paper products like toilet paper and paper towels which are hard to get dirt cheap!

I noticed that you are useing register rewards to pay for your order scenarios. When I have used register rewards to pay for my orders in the past the register did not print the register rewards for the products I was buying.I was told by the cashier if I used my register rewards on items that have rewards I would not get the rewards for the items I was buying.
Has walgreens changed thier policy??
Thanks

I was just at my Walgreens yesterday and the cashier told me if I used a rr that was for the same sponsor that it would not print one for that transaction. I don’t know how true this is but she went out of her way to put mine on multiple transactions. Not sure if I explaining this concept very good so the example would be (My new purchase was a P&G item that would print a P&G RR at the end of my transaction so the cashier said I should not use any of my P&G RR previously used to pay for the transaction otherwise my new RR would not print for the P&G item) Hope this helps.

I am very new to couponing, so sorry if this is a stupid question! Why do you do it in multiple transactions instead of just one big transaction? Does that end up saving you money? Wouldn’t you just get all those register rewards to use on your next purchase?
Also — how do you get the cashier to do your transactions so many times? I always feel very pressure to get through the checkout really quickly!
Thanks in advance!
