Walgreens Scenarios 12/26/10 – 1/1/11

Below are new Walgreens scenarios.  This post includes specific items you can purchase and coupons that you can use to maximize your dollar AND your Register Rewards at Walgreens.  Please know that you do not have to follow these transactions if you do not want to.  The goal of this post is to help you get an idea on how to roll your RRs from one week to the next.  Please also know that these transactions do not take into account tax.  Every state taxes differently so you may need to budget a little extra to cover tax.

Transaction #1

Buy four Vicks Sinex Vapospray, $6 each(will receive $10 RR for spending over $20 on Vicks products)
Use four $4/1 Sinex Product 12/26/2010 P&G Insert (exp 1/31/2011)
Use one register reward or jingle cash up to $8 here if you have one from last week to save more! If you use this you must buy a filler item. Look for an item around $0.25.
Total Due: $8.00 (without RR or jingle cash)
Receive: $10 RR (makes it $2.00 moneymaker :))

Transaction #2

Buy one Colgate Dental Care Max Fresh or Max White Toothbrush or Toothpaste 6oz, $2.99 (will receive $2 RR)
Buy one Revlon top speed nail color, $5.99 (will receive $5 RR)
Buy one Aussie or Herbal Essences Hair Care 5.7-14oz, $2.99 (will receive $1 RR)
Buy one Dawn Hand Renewal dish soap, $0.99
Use one $0.75/1 Colgate Max White Max Fresh Product
Use one $1/1 Herbal Essences or Aussie Product 11/28/2010 P&G Insert (exp 12/31/2010)
Use one $1/1 Dawn Hand Renewal P&G Home Made Simple Mailer (exp 4/30/2011)
Use $10 RR from Transaction #1
Total Due: $0.21
Receive: $5 RR, $2 RR, $1 RR

Transaction #3

Buy one Dove Body Wash, $3.99 (will receive $2 RR)
Buy two Crest Pro Health Mouthwash 250 mL , 2/$5 (will receive $1 RR)
Buy two Pantene Shampoo or Conditioner, 2/$7 (will receive $2 RR)
Buy two filler item priced around $0.26 each
Use one B1G1 Pantene Shampoo WYB Pantene 11/28/2010 P&G Insert (exp 12/31/2010)
Use one $1/1 Dove Body Wash
Use two $2/1 Crest Rinse 12/26/2010 P&G Insert (exp 1/31/2011) (if included)
Use $5 RR, $2 RR and $1 RR from Transaction #2
Total Due: $0.01
Receive: $2 RR, $1 RR, $2

Product Worth: $53.47+ tax and you will still have $5 worth of RRs to use next time!

**Don’t forget that Register Rewards expire very quickly and if you let them expire, you are basically throwing away money. If you are concerned you will let them expire, I would put your RRs towards paper products like toilet paper and paper towels which are hard to get dirt cheap!
