Below are this week’s Walgreens scenarios. This post includes specific items you can purchase and coupons that you can use to maximize your dollar AND your Register Rewards at Walgreens. Please know that you do not have to follow these transactions if you do not want to. The goal of this post is to help you get an idea on how to roll your RRs from one week to the next. Please also know that these transactions do not take into account tax. Every state taxes differently so you may need to budget a little extra to cover tax.

My Walgreens would not accept the $2/1 Arnicare coupon provided by the link within Transaction 1 of this article. The manager said since the coupon did not have a third barcode nor a ‘verify’ stamp, the store was not guaranteed its money back.
Donna says
There is a $1 off (Wags Coupon) for Total toothpaste in the New IVC February savings book.

My walgreens had to manually enter the arnicare coupon…she said it was the same item but would not scan properly.
Also, if u r looking for filler items, my walgreens had .29 or 4/$1.00 valentines lunch paper bags.

My Walgreens said I couldn’t use RR for just the Arnicare. I had to purchase something else because the RR are manufacture coupons so you will need 2 item. Has any one else had this problem?

Bgraycouponmom, welcome to walgreens! 🙂 yeah. you can only use the same # of manufacturer coupons (RR are manufacturer coupons) as # of items you have..this is where “filler” items come in handy. Those are cheap little things that you don’t really need, but can potentially use for something that cost 29cents or 39 cents…I think last week there was a cheap roll of toilet paper. so you buy the filler item (that you don’t have a coupon for) that lets you use your register reward on it… does this make sense? I hope so…my mind gets a little fried…:)
