Below are this week’s Walgreens scenarios. There are a couple of freebies this week if you have the right coupons. This post includes specific items you can purchase and coupons that you can use to maximize your dollar AND your Register Rewards at Walgreens. Please know that you do not have to follow these transactions if you do not want to. The goal of this post is to help you get an idea on how to roll your RRs from one week to the next. Please also know that these transactions do not take into account tax. Every state taxes differently so you may need to budget a little extra to cover tax.
To see this week’s Walgreens Weekly Ad and Coupon Matchups, go HERE.
Transaction #1
Buy one RepHresh PH Tampons, $5.99 (you will receive $5 RR)
Buy two Dove deodorant, $1.99 each w/in ad coupon (make sure the cashier scans the coupon in the ad or it will ring up regular retail price)
Minus one $1/1 RepHresh tampons
Minus two $2/1 Dove Deodorant or Body Mist 1/30/2011 RP Insert (exp 2/27/2011)
If you have RRs from last week use them here to save even more!
Total Due: $4.97 (without RRs)
Receive: $5 RR
Transaction #2
Buy one Goody Elastics, $2.99 (you will receive $2 RR)
Buy one Dawn Hand Renewal, $.99
Buy two Purex 3 in 1 Laundry Sheets, BOGO $7.99
Minus two $3/1 Purex Complete 3-in-1 laundry sheets 2/20/2011 RP Insert (exp 3/19/2011)
Minus one $1/1 Dawn Hand Renewal P&G Home Made Simple Mailer (exp 4/30/2011)
Minus $5 RR from Transaction #1
Total Due: NOTHING
Receive: $2 RR
Total Out of Pocket: $4.97 + applicable tax (without RRs from last week)
Product Worth: $29.93 + tax and you will still have $2 RR from Transaction #2 to use next time!
**Don’t forget that Register Rewards expire very quickly and if you let them expire, you are basically throwing away money. If you are concerned you will let them expire, I would put your RRs towards paper products like toilet paper and paper towels which are hard to get dirt cheap!

Hi Liza, I noticed that you didn’t make the note on these scenarios to buy a 10 cent item. Is it still required to have the equal amount of items and coupons? If so, can you suggest where to find an item for 10 cents? Thank you. Kristen
