Walgreens Scenarios 4/15/12 – 4/21/12

This post includes specific items you can purchase and coupons that you can use to maximize your dollar AND your Register Rewards at Walgreens. The goal of this post is to help you get an idea on how to roll your RRs from one week to the next. Please also know that these transactions do not take into account tax. Every state taxes differently so you may need to budget a little extra to cover tax.

Buy one Nasal Ease Allergy Relief Spray .18 oz  – $9.00 (you will receive $9 RR)
Minus one $5/1 Nasal Ease Allergy Reliever, exp. 9/30/12 (RP 03/11/12 R)
If you have left over RRs use them here – just make sure you purchase a filler item.  Remember- you can only use one RR or coupon per item!

Buy four 4 Dove Hair Care 1.35-12 oz, Body Wash 13.5 oz, Select Deodorant or Body Mist 2.6-3 oz or Active Clean Shower Tool  – $3.75 ea (you will receive $5 RR)
Buy one Filler Item priced at $0.25
Minus four $1/1 Dove Hair Care Product, exp. 4/22/12 (RP 03/25/12) OR $1/1 Dove Body Wash, exp. 4/22/12 (RP 03/25/12)
Minus $9 RR from Transaction #1
Total Spent: $2.25
Receive: $5 RR

Transaction #3

Buy one Similasan Nasal Allergy Relief Spray .68 oz  – $6.00 (you will receive $6 RR)
Buy one Pepsi Next 20 oz  – $0.99 (you will receive $0.99 RR)
Minus one $1.50/1 Similasan Product, exp. 6/24/12 (SS 04/01/12) OR $1.50/1 Similasan Product, exp. 6/30/12 (ALL YOU Apr ’12)
Minus $5 RR from Transaction #2
Total Spent: $0.49
Receive: $6 RR and $0.99 RR

Total Remaining RRs to apply towards next week’s ad: $6.99 RR
Total Out of Pocket for 2 transactions: $6.74 + applicable taxes for approximately $31 in products. And if you use RRs from last week in Transaction #1 you will save even more!

**Also – Don’t forget that your RRs will expire in a few weeks and if you let them expire, you are basically throwing away money. If you are concerned you will let them expire, I would put your RRs towards paper products like toilet paper, paper towels, diapers, etc which are hard to get dirt cheap!
