It is a pretty slow week at Walgreens for Register Reward deals but there are several Mail In Rebates you may want to check out! I have ended this week’s transactions with an Allegra MIR that you’ll find in this Sunday’s paper. Check your local Walgreens ad for the MIRs available in your area and score some additional freebies! This post includes specific items you can purchase and coupons that you can use to maximize your dollar AND your Register Rewards at Walgreens. The goal of this post is to help you get an idea on how to roll your RRs from one week to the next. Please also know that these transactions do not take into account tax. Every state taxes differently so you may need to budget a little extra to cover tax.

Minus $3 RR from Transaction #2
Total Spent: $2.24
Receive: $5.00 when you submit the Allegra MIR in Sunday’s Paper (No RRs this Transaction)
Total Remaining RRs to apply towards next week’s ad: None this week
Total Out of Pocket for 2 transactions: $9.46 after mail in rebate found in Sunday’s paper+ applicable taxes for approximately $37.50 in products. And if you use RRs from last week in Transaction #1 you will save even more!
**Also – Don’t forget that your RRs will expire in a few weeks and if you let them expire, you are basically throwing away money. If you are concerned you will let them expire, I would put your RRs towards paper products like toilet paper, paper towels, diapers, etc which are hard to get dirt cheap!

Susan,
I corrected in the post – the EXP Sunday really meant EXPECT in Sunday’s paper, 7/29/12 Red Plum, but I see how that was confusing. 🙂 Check your paper tomorrow!
