This post is part of BeCentsAble’s Grocery Gathering!
Just left my Wags, and NONE of the Vicks Sinex were on sale for $6 (I had the cashier check, and they were all between $7 and $9). Just FYI… 🙁
In the new wags coupon book there is $5 off Oscillococcinum.
Pretty sure the $5 off is for the adult version and is not working for the Childrens deal. There is a HUGE fuss about it on another couponing website because the owner of the site posted that as being the deal and people are upset that she reported misinformation.
I have a question…I just left my WAGS and tried to buy 2 items, use 2 coupons and 2 RR. It was a no go, the cashier told me that I could not use the 4 of them. Can someone explain why?
Hi Holly! Here is what happened. With Walgreens, you can only use one manufacturer coupon per item. Walgreens considers RRs to be manufacturer coupons. SO, if you bought 2 items and used two coupons and two RRs, Walgreens would need you to purchase two more items so that you could use your RRs. In situations like these, you should look for filler items. Filler items are cheap items (I always look for holiday pencils, holiday plastic cups.. anything that is $0.25 or less). So, if you had bought two Christmas pencils that are on clearance along with the 2 items you tried to buy, you would have been able to use both coupons and both RRs. Does that make sense? Let me know if not and I can clarify further.
Just wanted to let you know that i went to WAGS and purchased multiple items & saved alot of money but the coupon for the Oscillococcinum Childrens 6pk was no good. The store manager told me that it was counterfeit. Still had a great shopping day though.
How would the Oscillococcinum coupon be counterfeit if it’s coming from the manufacturer’s website?
Cindy- I asked the exact same question & they told me that it wasnt real because there is no writing along the outside edges of the coupon like most internet coupons have. I am not a fighter so I didnt argue the point. But beware in case you run into that same scenario.
Hi everyone!
I called the 800 number on the coupon and the company said that they are aware that it isn’t scanning but it is a legitimate coupon. She said there are 2 options. You can mention this at your local store and offer for them to contact the 800 number on the coupon so that they can honor it. Or, you can send the coupon with a copy of your receipt to the address on the coupon and they will honor it.
Hope this helps!
