If you are looking for a fun physical activity that benefits a great cause this weekend, you might want to check this out. This month is Pediatric Cancer Awareness month and in honor of that, this Saturday, 9/24/11 at Straub Park in Downtown St. Petersburg, FL, you can participate in the the CureSearch Walk. If you are unfamiliar with CureSearch, it is an organization aimed at conquering childhood cancers. A friend of mine has a child who was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer just a few months ago when he was 5 months old. She is the one who told me about this awesome organization and the awesome walk. If you know me – I love running because many of the races I run in support awesome causes just like this. So, if you are interested in participating this Saturday, go HERE. And, please note that you can be a virtual participator if you can’t make it to St Petersburg. 🙂
**Very soon I will have a “Ministry” category on Addicted to Saving where you all can post different fundraising opportunities, food pantry needs, church needs, etc etc.
