Thanks for posting this. It definitely helps me understand Walgreens RR policy. Does CVS work the same way? I haven’t really gone there much or haven’t rolled my ECB’s like that. Thanks again. 🙂
Do RR appear on your receipt like CVS to use towards the next transaction or are they coupons out of a book? This lysol products coming up on next weeks ad. How do I use manufacture coupons and earn RR’s so I get these items for free?
Hi Andrea! RRs are like ECBs but they print out on a separate paper. In order to get the Lysol wipes.. you will need to buy one package of wipes and use one $1/1 coupon. When you are at the register, you will pay $1.99. A separate RR will print out for $1.00. The RR is like cash. So, since you are receive $1RR, you are “in a sense” paying only $0.99 for the wipes. Does this make sense?
Do I need to put an item in between to get another $1 RR on the next wipes?
When purchasing items at Walgreens and getting RR it seems everyone talks in a single item transaction. Can you purchase 2 or more items that print out RR at the same time. For example if razors give 5 RR and cereal give 3 RR, will 8 RR print out if you purchase both items together or do they have to be purchased seperately to get the full 8 RR?
In your example, yes, $8 will print out because they are two different items that give RR. But if razors pay a $5RR and you buy 2 in the SAME transaction, only one RR will print. Hope that helps!
