Today was literally like Christmas. I could barely carry all of my mail into the house I had so many packages. Days like today are fun because I forget what I ordered and it is like Christmas opening up my packages and envelopes! Did you get anything fun today?

Thanks for coming to Addicted to Saving! Here’s a little bit about me so you can know who’s behind all these posts!
My name is Liza and I began my money-saving journey in the Spring of 2009 as a way to stretch a limited household income. I had lost my job and my hubby was self-employed. I launched Addicted to Saving in November of 2009 and it has grown by leaps and bounds. Since then, my hubby and I have struggled with the ups and downs of two failed adoptions and are now LOVING being parents to our little man Asher who we brought home from Ethiopia in August of 2013. I feel incredibly blessed to be able to help you save money. My goal is that you will have FUN and become empowered to save more and more money each week..
I got the Kraft Foods Summer Pack today too. I was so excited! Going to the mailbox is super fun now. You never know what’s going to be in there.

I got the unilever/publix coupons, my publix baby club coupons and a coupon from Dove. I also rec’d my Year of Savings (P&G) coupon booklet. I looked through it and am kinda disappointed. There’s only 17 product coupons; each repeated 3 times and of those 17 only 3 or 4 products I’d use…i dont have babies (diapers), not going to have any (prego test), am under the age of 60 (metamucil, fixodent, Old spice, pepto) and already have a water filtration system (pur). Ya know what would be great is if they let you customize your book with a max savings cap of $100 so each person could get the coupons they could actually use!
love getting the mail! always have! used to order stuff when I was little, free samples of dog food, anything! My mom had a copy of a 800 directory and I would just go down the list requesting a free sample. I didn’t care what it was. I used to get so much mail. Couponing and free sampling really brings me back to a great time in my life. 🙂 I am having a blast with all of this and enjoy reading everyone’s comments. I love getting the mail esp. now, because the bills are outnumbered by fun stuff! 🙂
Yesterday, I got my free sample of philosophy anti-wrinkle cream and the potty training kit from Pampers. The day before, it was the Dove Hair Ambassador conditioner, free coupon for free Oscar-Meyer turkey bacon, Aveeno shampoo / conditioner samples, and L’oreal shampoo / conditioner samples. I LOVE going to my mailbox now!! Looking forward to getting my Kraft Summer Pack… 😀
It seems as if I get something in the mail every single day….love it! I never thought I would actually love opening my mailbox! I’m a changed woman!
