So do you all remember a while back when Outback did their big 1,000,000 FREE steaks giveaway on Facebook? (Go HERE to see my post about this.) Many of you were able to score free steak dinners. BUT, if I remember correctly, there was a lot of Facebook chatter about the “effectiveness” of the giveaway. I personally did not get any confirmation of receiving a free dinner, but a message that simply said, “Only one per household,” even though I never got the first one! And I don’t think I was the only one who received that message. 😉
Much to my surprise, however, today I opened the mail to see my FREE Outback Steakhouse steak dinner coupon! Woohoo! I guess everyone who emailed Outback and posted on their Facebook page made a difference. We just laughed today to see the coupon, since it was probably a month ago or so that Outback had this promotion. If you did get yours, just make sure you remember to use it Monday-Thursday (fine print).

We, too, got ours last week – definitely need an appetizer to split between us as the coupons are good for a 6 oz. Steak and one side – Wood grilled Chicken, Mahi or Shrimp can be added for $4.00…Still a Happy Camper!

We tried over and over for this promotion and the computer kept freezing due to the high demand of everyone trying to get it. We reentered our info 4 different times trying…finally we gave up and today we got 3 steak dinner coupons..talk about a surprise..what a good surprise to have..

I received a confirmation that I would receive the coupon for the free steak dinner. Unknown to me, my daughter filled out the information about an hour after me and it went through as well as well! I don’t understand how it went through when they only allowed 1 per household. Unfortunately, my daughter received hers(even though she did it AFTER me) and I did not receive mine! 🙁
I don’t know whether to contact Outback regarding this since she really shouldn’t have received hers. The only thing is that I threw away the confirmation page!

I didn’t have any trouble getting this offer. I received my coupon in the mail last week and went to Outback the same week! The new steak is delicious. Definitely worth the try!
